Best time to visit

The best time to plan your trip is during the long dry season from June to October when there is limited rainfall. Zanzibar temperatures vary with location and altitude but clear skies dominate most days, and there is abundant sunshine. The short rains come from November to  early December, but they’re shorter, lighter and in no way hinder your experience. The long rains come from April to June and afternoon showers are the norm.
